• The most common place for an excavator swing motor leak is just above the output pinion, where the shaft disappears up into the gearbox in larger excavators or the motor assembly in smaller machines.

Final drive problems can often be the symptom of a fault elsewhere on the machine, here are some things to look out for:

• Is there sufficient oil in the hydraulic oil tank?
• Does the engine run at full speed?
• Are the tracks too tight?
• Is the machine stuck in highspeed mode?
• Are the tracks, track rollers and idlers in good condition?
• Is the machine delivering the correct oil pressure, and flow, to the hydraulic motor?
• Are there any internal leakages in the swivel joint?
• Is the final drive leaking?
• Is there back pressure, or a blockage in the hydraulic motor case drain line?

• Your part will be sent to you with genuine packaging of some kind whether that’s a plate or just in its original packaging

• The pump will start to leak and hydraulic fluid can be visible, you may hear banging and knocking sounds, an increase in temperature, etc

• Most of the slew rings that we supply come with locating pins

• We are able to supply just the pilot pump on the majority of pumps that we offer and some that we don’t

• This depends on the application of the pump but couplings can be supplied if not included

• Yes seals are included with our slew rings when applicable

• Yes bolt fitting kits are available for all slew rings offered

• Many internal pump parts are available for all pumps that we stock and some that we don’t.

• We do not offer any pumps or pump parts with Chinese origin
