After years of planning, design, and collaboration with specialist partners, this purpose-built facility represents an investment of around £1 million, the largest single project in Plant Parts’ 30+ year history. The Rig will be fully operational by Spring 2026, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and industry-leading customer service.

What Makes The Rig Unique?

Designed for Swing Drive and Final Drive hydraulic motors, The Rig offers:

• Load testing up to 132 kW

• Coverage for motors from 18cc to 340cc

• Simulation of real-world operating conditions

• Fully automated, single-operator testing

• Advanced data acquisition and performance reporting

At the heart of the facility is a state-of-the-art electronic dynamometer, enabling precise energy usage measurement and validation against OEM specifications. Unlike conventional hydraulic test rigs, it features a fully electronic, fixed structure with regenerative capabilities, making it fully bespoke for motors rather than adapted from pump systems.
