We’re thrilled to share that Plant Parts Ltd has recently passed our ISO 9001:2015 audit with flying colours — and without a single non-conformity or observation noted!
ISO 9001:2015 is an internationally recognised standard that sets out the criteria for a quality management system (QMS). To achieve and maintain this accreditation, a company must demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet both customer and regulatory requirements, while showing a clear commitment to continuous improvement.
With the ongoing efforts of our ISO Lead Nigel Fisher (who is Plant Parts own Project / Test Engineer), our team has built a strong, practical QMS that is very much alive in our day-to-day operations. This year, we’ve made further improvements including new infrastructure, calibration maintenance tracking, and enhancements to our Non-Conformity Table — all of which have directly contributed to lower service costs, reduced non-conformities, and increased customer satisfaction.
Our internal job management software also received high praise from the auditor. Its ability to trace a job from initial enquiry through to delivery using a unique Job Number, alongside detailed inventory tracking and supplier selection tools, was described as “infallible.” It’s just one more way we ensure quality and reliability in every part and every order.
We’re particularly proud of the culture we’ve built around quality. Staff across the business willingly contributed to the audit process, confidently showcasing their processes and paperwork. It was also noted that leadership is fully committed to the ISO framework, with our Managing Director Richard Finch crediting the system with streamlining operations, exposing inefficiencies, and ultimately driving improvements that benefit our customers and team alike.
