Job Title: Workshop Technician

Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience + Profit Share + Benefits

 

Description:

Plant Parts Ltd is the UK’s largest independent stockist of construction machinery parts, specialising in the supply and repair of Track Motors and Swing Drives for excavators and track laying equipment. Due to expansion, we are looking for someone who can: disassemble, fault find, assess for repair, collate reports, assemble and test track motors, swing drives and hydraulic motors.

 

Experience:

We don’t expect anyone to have any direct experience in what we do but you will need to have previous experience in a repair workshop of some description i.e., Agricultural, plant vehicle etc. Hydraulic experience is preferable.

 

Knowledge/abilities:

Be a Logical thinker who can problem solve and has a can-do approach

Be able to work to tight tolerances

Be able to multi-task and be able to cope with a constantly changing workload

Be computer Literate and have good communication skills

Be able to maintain an impeccably clean working environment

 

Training:

On successful completion of trial period external training will be provided.

 

Other Requirements:

Have a clean Drivers Licence

To own a basic tool kit
